41 Ford pinion bearings

Hi guys
Wanted to get confirmation on the best quality pinion bearings - I’ve heard some overseas bearings fit terrible - so interested in getting part #s of high quality bearings

He did send a replacement bearing, though that does no where cover the shop cost to remove rear axle asm fix bearing and reinstall :(

Given the first bearing failed after 680 miles, I was not...

Well I ended up getting a original bearing so will install - V8COOPMAN made a good point on the differences between tube and solid driveshafts

Question is are the torque tubes and drive shaft from a 39 or 40 the same as 41?

There is a 39 Ford rear available above that is same in every dimension as the 41 (except) the Spring Hanger dimension.

Anyone know if I just need to swap out my 41 leafspring for a 39 leafspring...

Your rearend seems like a good option but I think perhaps my 41 rear leafspring needs to be swapped to a 39/40 rear leafspring to fit between your axles spring...

Thank you - according to article the 46 is too wide overall - Rats !

Well if anyone has 2 (really nice) 41 rear axle shafts - it will certainly help me in rebuilding my 41 rear axle

The rear rumbles - low noise , it’s upon deceleration in 3rd gear mainly - if I put car in neutral the noise stops , put back into 3rd - noise starts
This just started about 20 Miles ago,I think...

Well the 41’s original rear axle is starting to rumble on deceleration, so I think it’s time to get it rebuilt.
Trouble is that no one around my area either wants to or can’t rebuild it.
