We have better oil now with better additives so the 500 mile mark is a little out dated. But them again oil is cheap compared to a new engine.

Don't say that! the gas gauge is a simple fix. Replace the float and your done, a couple of hours with the right tools and your on your way.

There was a company called tower paint that did it. With any paint you buy in "stock" colors you have to be sure yours is the same "stock" color. check your car against the national clubs color chips...
