Anyone know of a good how-to set up points on the helmet style distributor? I've replaced the coil and condenser but cant get any spark.

As a result of sitting for lots of years, I need to have the gas tank in my 41 coupe either boiled out or replaced. It's silted and rusted inside. If I can't find a local shop to boil it out , where...

12v or 6v ?

Hello how can I tell if the car has been converted to 12v or not? I got a 41 Ford with little information about it and no battery in it. Also if it is still 6v, is it a positive ground system? Thanks

Jseery , that's a good idea, I do have a set of F1 brakes. I believe those are bendix style.

Took the plastic off my newly rebuilt motor and found the crank pulley is strangely out of place. Is this to far out, and what could cause this? By the way this is the truck version of the crank...

I'm using a Stromberg 48, the difference in performance is very noticeable. However , I don't know how period correct it is. You may want to look around on the HAMB website for ideas. Ive also seen...
