Re: T-Bird Battery

Barners,

Barners,
Thanx for all of the replies. I found a local battery supply house that sells Pennsylvania made batts, called Deka. Seller said it is better than Interstate (of course). So we'll see how it...

Re: NADA pricing accuracy? 41 pickup

Oldskool,
Not too original on the black '40 : rear should be all steel on the, floor-one piece. Not supposed to have any padding on doors or kick panels, just painted steel in truck color, dash...

Re: 57 t-bird dash pad

If Casco supplied the cover, they will make it right. Call their tech line and they will talk you thru it. Of any of the T-bird suppliers, Casco is the best supplier, been using them for years....

Re: Question about por-15 putty or filler

Barners,
I used All-Metal many years ago with good results. As a test, I mixed up a batch and set a chunk aside to harden. After it was completely dry, I threw it into a bucket of water. Water did...

Re: Pertronix ignition

bob knight,
I have never heard of a '57 Tbird having resistance wire in it, feeding the coil. It should be a resistor mounted on the intake manifold area, near the distributor. Was your electrical...

Re: 39 Ford gas sender

Adileo,
My friend said he had it out and didn't indicate the float was logged, just won't work. I'll try a search as suggest in lieu of any other suggestions.
Thanks all.

Re: Who makes a good condenser?

Bubba's distributor repair on this forum will sell you a capacitor which will probably outlive your distributor. Bought one for my '53 and my '34. You must get a little inventive to install in a...

Re: 1934 Horn Rod help

You should make sure that grounding the horn rod at the TOP may make the horn blow. Perhaps a loss of ground at the horn button may be causing the problem. Turn the wheel and the light switch to...
