yes, short out the two wires on the brake light switch if that makes the lights come on then the switch is at fault. did you install a low pressure bl switch?

why ask for advice and then not take it? several people including me have experience with the "blue coil" and are extremely satisfied with the results and heartily recommend them

he also said one of the lugs on the cam was broken off--is he talking about the distributor mount timing slot? if so then will need to pull the engine apart and install another cam!
