the ford oval on the front cover of a reproduction manual is smaller than the original oval on a factory manual.

About sixty years ago I used 49-50 Mercury wheels on my thirty coupe.they looked real good at the time not sure how wide they were.

I had a noise somewhat like and found that after thirty years my flywheel had worked loose,took a while to find it you may want to give it a thought good luck

If you are using shock fluid switch to 90 gear oil.it has been in my shocks for over forty years with no leaks and the ride is real good.had a fellow in our a club rebuild them when I restored my car...

They were real Ford accessory And I have looked for years for a set and never found any,the tube type tire gauge with Ford script in it is very rare have only ever seen two in my 65 years playing...

Have you ever had your axle checked for camber and caster? You have to bend the axle to correct it.that will cure that death wobble.i know this from experience.

On my 29 the tires hit the doors the old Firestone’s were very close ,so there is no room for covers,they sure looked good to.

My metal covers fit my old firestone tires I bought new firestone tires and they are like two sizes too big and the covers do not fit .did get one on and it will not fit in the fender well.

I have had my 29tudor since 1965 and I thought that was a long time.it was the ninth model a but that doesn’t count.great going barnstuf.

The one that I have is cast iron ,the needle and seat are one piece and look real good as do the rest of the jets.will give it a try.

I have a Simmons carb I would like to run on my 29 and am looking for information on rebuilding it .any one have any information on it? It is complete and in good shape thank you.woody

I bought new Allstate seconds at a junkyard for three dollars each there was no flaws visible flaws and they ran for many miles ,this was in the early sixties.
