I pulled my 292 with fordomatic attached from my 56 Victoria with no problem at all. By taking the Radiator, front bulkhead and grill made it much easier. Good luck with your project!

Thanks for the pictures Kultulz, the underside pan pic gives me a good idea on how to fab the baffle. Also thanks to all who confirmed that this will work.

thanks for the replys. that's the way I was leaning but wasn't sure. the new bushing is shaped like a top hat so does the 'brim' get removed after installation, because the inner and outer hinges go...

hi 56 fairlane, the felt weatherseal comes 1 1/4 inches wide, 3/16 inches thick and 17 feet long. you will have to cut to fit the bottom of the 'u' shaped window run. i got this at a home depot...

I used two different kinds of home weatherstripping for the window runs on my 1956 victoria . one is felt and the other is pile. glued it in with 3m glue and it works great.
