I do have it set up exactly like the diagram and message number 3 with a relay still no spark even tried another distributor with a adapter for regular coil still couldn't get any Spark

59 a b swap for 8ba
My 59 AV in my 35 has 1 piston it doesn't move probably broken Rod or something. I do have a running 8ba on a stand looks like they should swap easily any thoughts thanks

I do have it set up with a relay that has its own push button start on the relay set up exactly like the illustration and post number 3. Still no spark I tried my distributor with one of those...

it is a helmet distributor with coil on top of thatIt is a helmet distributor with coil on top of that I only have one wire hooked up to the coil am I doing something wrong. Thanks

Thanks guys, I do not have spark after doing the coil test I'll take the distributor off and see what I see. If I was going to replace or rebuild the whole thing any suggestions?

Okay I wired everything up correctly motor turns over have got power to the starter hot lead to the coil has power other side of the coil has power the coil wire coming out of the top of the coil has...

I have a 35 five Window Coupe with a 59ab engine front-mounted distributor with helmet coil. Was getting no spark so I bought an adapter for regular coil. Got it all hooked up still no spark motor...

Thanks for the offer I'm in the mountains in Colorado I will just buy a generator or maybe an alternator that's part reason why I haven't done anything yet hadn't thought it through

1953 8ba water pump belt question
Can get the motor to start and run start and run, don't have a generator what size belts can I run water pumps just to cool it will that work at all thanks
