Re: '32 BB cab mounting bolts

I looked at my original 33 BB and they go thru from inside the cab and the spring, washer and nut go underneath in the frame. Mine look to be 3/8 where the nut goes on but can't see the whole length....

Front hubs with the larger stainless steel hub cap indicate its a 34.

The rear or even the front spring center bolt might not be in the hole in the crossmember.

Re: Puller for Ford BB rear hubs KD-540?

After the AA got away from wire or disc style wheels (1930) and went the deep style (for dual rears) then through 1933 BB the same puller will work. IN 34 Ford went to the floating slide out axles.

Pull the springs out, disassemble and clean and paint and remove a couple of leaves and reassemble with spring liner plastic inserts. Should be just about right and will be almost the same height

If you look at the outside of the neck just below the ring where the cap seats, you should see the end of the little tube. That is the vent, and if it isn't stopped up the cap does not need to be...
