I don'T want to change the 12V battery with a 6V. if I did that I would have to redo the head light's they are sealed beam. I would rather change the alternators. I need to know what 12V alternator...

I don't understand your question. The car has a 6V alternator, and a 12V battery the neg. post is grounded to the car.

Yes I mean a non-contact tester, one that you can use on insulated wires.

Is there a tool available like the 110 volt meter that will tell if volt's is going through the wire, on 6 volt? I need something that will tell if the wire is live, with out having to use a test...

I have tried it in the door, will not go, The old glass was cracked. After trying to put it in I laid it on the old glass. 1/8 short. I talked to a glass co. It is tempered glass, he said no one...

I ordered a new door glass for a 1930 Ford Tudor. It is 1/8" too wide. any Ideas? I haven't called Burt's yet but will. Thanks

i started a new thread, thinking if i added to the old one you fella's might miss it.
I bought a 1930 Tudor today that has an OD. The fellow I got it from knew nothing about it, except it works....
