I have found that using a hole punch on hardwood is a good idea and I always use the end grain that allows the punch to cut a very clean hole.

I agree with caution cleaning the reflectors if they are original, since they are silver coated, not chrome. Repro reflectors are chrome plated and can handle easy cleaning. Silver polish is...

For my 36 ford 5W Coupe I measure about 1-1/4" on each side. I am not sure this is factory, since these brackets came from other cars and I made sure that both sides were equal by bending the arms. ...

I had a similar problem, but the liquid separated in the sight glass. I uncoiled the bulb end and hung the gauge up to allow gravity move fluid back to bulb. It did work. It is worth a try.

I located the rubber joint at the bottom of the rear window.


1/4 windows I used the one piece rubber seal design from Drake.


The seal between the rubber seal and the body I used 3M black...
