I have a late 1931 closed cab steel roof wide body that came to me with both left and right side mounts. Both sides have support brackets that are bolted and appear identical. It has the indented...

Re: 31 CCPU splash shield replacement

Running boards on 31 Budd cab

I'm in a bit of a quandry.. Being a little green to this and a little excited to get things together (once I'm done boiling sap) I ordered a new set of running boards for my truck. I just realized...

Re: Best way to enter and exit 31 CCPU

This one is a 31 Budd cab (indented firewall) with the wide bed. I did some more practicing and I think with the backing in and sliding toward the passenger side before tucking my feet into the...

Re: Best way to enter and exit 31 CCPU

Just came back in from tinkering and I'm relieved to see I'm not alone in this. I think the thinner seat back is an excellent idea. While I was in the garage I tried a few different approaches to...

TTT - one more try. My truck was originally a 6 wheel I guess and somewhere during its life it got whacked on the right fender and they just cut out the wheel well and support and patched the holes...

Re: New to the Forum and 1931 Closed cab pickup

Re: New to the Forum and 1931 Closed cab pickup

Re: New to the Forum and 1931 Closed cab pickup
