I'm putting together a '31 closed car (straight post) cowl for a huckster project. I'm looking for the piece that connects the back sides of the cowl and supports the rear edge of the fuel...

Thanks, spike. I thought the measurements were off based on reading old posts on this site. Now, if I can figure out what it does fit, maybe I could use it for trading stock. It's really solid!
