28-29 radiator baffle

Folks my 29 roadster does not have a baffle in the top tank and seems like I loose a lot of water. are some with baffles and some without

tire beads

Are tire beads the best way to balance Model a tires. Will they wear the inside of the tube? someone said he just aligns the valve stem with a point on the tire.

The rubbing block wears in the first 1000+ miles then gets a glaze on it and mostlikly won't wear fast after that, keep it lubbed. You are at .019 which is good

I use copper anti seize on studs and distributor holes. Primer that is not Hi Temp may peel all off no need for it with engine paint

Had some trouble with points and distributer so changed distributer and retimed. Would not hit but sounded like on intake stroke back through carburetor. Checked timing and rotor had moved 1/4 to...

Mine is straight windshield. I took one out left rear and it had a star on it so I ordered the spring set from Snyders for that latch. The one heavy Plunger spring fit but I had to drill the rivet...

four door latches

I need door latch for 1930 four door the whole thing or just the part with the plunger in it. I have the one with a diamond emblem but could use the Swiss for the left rear door.

I can't identify my latch on 4 door sedan all I can see is patent applied for 1440. and does anyone have diagram for all the springs that come with the Swiss or Toledo

Drooping door handles

Seems like all four door handles droop down when doors are latched. Seems they all did at same time has anyone had this problem and replaced the springs. They are expensive in all catalogs

I reckon I forgot in the beginning that they were wired up and worked. I run a separate wire to each brake light for the signal from the indicator. The run was left as it was and so was the brake...

If water temperature stays around 160 by front of radiator with heat gauge but engine block with heat gauge measures around 190 is this normal on very hot day idling

I used Grain-it and it came out real good with their plate and roller and it's ford original. I have also tried with paint and strips with small brush which does good but it's far from original....
