never used one, always have good battery life with what I do now---nothing
when I asked what a battery tender would do for me at the booth selling them i was told it would double my battery life...

The front, center caps are Steel in all years, the rear cap is Steel early, cast later, the steel caps are tinned, the iron rear cap is done the same as the block, and has to be peined---

They like to leak, and the plastic fans like to break, I have seen the plastic blades come through the hood, many cars now have snap together hoses too---- and yes, the electric computer controlled...

Way back when I did my shocks I used a strap wrench to remove the covers, only had a propane torch for heat, had just built a garage, when pouring the floor I sunk 2 anchor bolts for a metal plate...

take oil can fill with thin oil--automatic trans fluid works --squirt way up into the area of the upper leaves, pretty much drench the whole spring, go for a drive, do it again

before you drive...

A long time ago my father had a widebed, with the original bed sills,there were only 2 holes, across from each other, the bracket with the triangle mounting didn't match, but a station wagon bracket...

Hook shop vac on blow to tailpipe, rotate engine so ex valve open fully, then all the chips will blow out

Yes, if you look in the service bulletins there's a picture, it's a glass bottle and electric fuel pump to fill it in a metal case along with a valves

What did you do to the fields? I know you were asking about field coil tape--- did you have them all out, or just loosen...

28-34 4 cylinder will all interchange as assembly including powerhouse though the powerhouse needs it's own bolt

It's seems too small--- I think it is 16 gauge, high strand count, might even be 18-- I have a nos one I could check over the weekend

I would drill the head off from the inside and push it out from the inside if I wanted to have no damage to either component, the stage cutters I have seen would take metal away from the hub or drum...
