Re: Media blast?

That is correct. If one takes a look at the properties of a concrete block, technically known as a CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit), compressive strength varies. Typically the MINIMUM compressive net...

Re: Merc crank clean out plugs

Not by my standards. 3/8" and 5/8" are 1/4" apart in size. Perhaps someone misunderstand.

Re: Hanging brake pedal with original clutch pedal

I have to chuckle to myself as I have the same affliction. I over think things sometimes so much it paralyzes me. In my opinion unless you're going for factory correct concourse judging restoration...

Re: Greatest Barn-Find Collection

Thanks Mike for setting the story straight. Hopefully I'll see you soon. Things went a bit sideways this summer and haven't been out much. (Not health related, just some home infrastructure stuff).

Re: Greatest Barn-Find Collection

Re: key stuck in the ignition of 39 pickup

Maybe try a little heat? Start with a hair dryer then maybe go to a propane torch, but easy does it so as not to damage anything. Does it move at all, even a little wiggle? Can you post a pic?

Re: Video - Getting Rid of Mice

It's in this thread. You can make one real easy. Deuce Roadster has one and it works.

Re: Video - Getting Rid of Mice

I believe it was posted by V8 Coopman. I recall seeing it also. Don't remember which thread it was in. Perhaps he'll chime in and repost it. I think it was called "walk the plank".

Re: Center stop light.

For how, I presume, most of us use these vehicles OEM equipment is allowed, (so called grandfather clause) at least in WA state. There are stipulations such as speed on the Interstate (one must be...

Re: 1937? K Model Lincoln in Junk Yard

I prefer the big long four doors. Luxury cruising with room to spare for the whole gang. Just me.

Re: How many on the Barn were there?

Agreed. Also, the debate is not enough room to carry stuff in a rumble seat. if that's the case the statement presumes no one will be riding in it. Why not just remove the cushions and voila, one has...

Re: How many on the Barn were there?

Off topic re: this thread but I wanted to comment on the rumble seat ride. With occasional threads about converting a rumble seat to a trunk your memory of that rumble seat ride is exactly why we use...

Re: Fuel tank dipping & sealing opinions welcome

Our '32 3W sat dormant in the garage for 23 years with the rear end out of it. Before Dad's health began to fail he was in the process of repairing it. He'd pulled the gas tank and it sat all that...

Re: Test

Thank you Charlie! I never knew that. How do I go about finding that when I want to test something? I couldn't readily see that. Is it under "Preview Post" when starting a new thread?
