Steel wool in filler cap is a bad idea.

Water vapor collects in steel wool which rusts the steel then small pieces of steel fall into the oil pan ... not good for the bearings.

Be good idea to drain coolant before removing nut ... You do not want coolant in oil pan.

Actually drain now before coolant leaks into oil pan from loose nut.

Note choke only works when engine is turning.

Do not mean to be insulting but there are many Utubes where they choke when engine is not turning.

rear main and front main were drilled 1/4 inch in galley.

Did enlarge tubes to bearing saddles. Local idea was that split tubes might leak.

Those cars made before the end of 1929 when a service bulletin and factory wiring changes went into effect are not...
