Re: Firestone tires Too Big?

Went from www to black tires.....liked the look, made the car look more substantial. The w/s frame (note chrome) is an extra from a 400-a I had many years ago.
Both sets of tires are Firestone.

Re: Change in driving between Model T and Model A

Most all cars had selective gear transmissions by 1928 so I would bet most people had driven or rode in one with a conventional clutch and could see how that system operated.

Re: 160 Series Slant Window Sedan ID

The only way I found I had a 160-B built by Murray was the muslin fabric under the original seat covers was ink stamped “Murray Body Corp”.

Re: Engine disassembly; Uh Oh.

I have used black pepper in a Model T and it lasted several years and I sold it with full disclosure no problem.
I have also used soapstone to solve a slight freeze crack.

Re: U. S. Mail

Back in the fall of 1969 I had a quart can of Prestone brand anti-freeze. I added it to my first car, a 1960 Buick. Yup, that’s all. Yes, the block froze and cracked that winter.
