Re: update on getting dizzy after being under the A.

It's likely something called "benign positional vertigo." Sometimes called "top shelf disease" because it's often happens when you look up. Go on line. There are things you can do for it. One is...

Re: Roadster Top Won't Go Up?

Can you get enough play by loosening the stanchions and moving them around a little to get the top seated, and then tightening them back down? Or are they too far off even for that? Horizontal I...

Re: Model A prices...going which way?

When I sell mine, I'd be happy if I got just half of what I have in it! Sadly, vision problems tell me that day isn't far off.

Re: Help, Paint Application Problems

I always just used an ammonia-based window cleaner before the final coat! Read somewhere that that was what to do, and did it. Seemed to work okay.

Re: Marvel's Mystery Oil

Probably true, likely because it defeats the purpose of emissions controls, and California is pretty sensitive about such things! Here in my part of Indiana we have emissions testing, and I would...

Re: About half Model A related

18 X 8.5 8 Not as small as the fronts, but pretty small. I'm going to give getting the wheel off one more try. Reminds me too much of getting the rear hubs off my Model A! Wish I could use that...

About half Model A related

I've seen videos of people changing Model A tires with the wheel still on the car. Has anybody here ever changed the rear tire of their lawn tractor with the wheel still on the axle? Can't get my...

Re: Will I fit in a Roadster??

I'm 6'1'' and 250 and don't have any trouble. It's easier to get in an out with the top down, I've found. Anyway, they're a fun car. Closest thing (other than maybe a homemade speedster) to a...

Re: Another quality product from MAC

Bought a lot of paint from Mac's in the old days. One of the few places you could get it.

Re: Replacing Horn Rod???

It shouldn't all come out, but cleaning up that mess might seem the better option after trying to find the tube, poking at it blindly with the horn rod. I guess you choose your poison! Joe K in...

Re: Replacing Horn Rod???

It's been a long time since I did this, and I might be disremembering the whole process, but I don't recall it being a problem. Can't the tube be installed after the horn rod is already in place and...

Re: Lebaron Bonney is Bankrupt

How sad. I never had anything but good experiences with them, going back to the 1970s. What companies a lot of us do business with will be next?

Re: Best lubrication for transmission ?

I'd be a little concerned that too-thin lubricant would work its way past the seals. I don't think they're intended for light oil.

No offense, but I'd say your advice certainly proves your point.

Re: rear wheel

No. No reason for it. You're more likely to break the studs loose from the hub than snap them off. Actually, snapping them off would be better! If you break them loose, they just spin inside the...

Re: OK,I wanna change my......

You might get by with just tipping the radiator forward to the light bar (without removing the lights or horn), but can't do this without removing the hood and probably the radiator shell, and of...

Re: Got One - Now the VIN search

We have fifty states, and are apparently "United" only in our desire in each of those fifty never to do anything the way another state does it.

Re: Got One - Now the VIN search

My chassis was in pretty good shape, but even with the body completely off it was not possible to read the frame number without a lot of work. I had to use a piece of paper and rub a pencil back ...

Re: short model a film

Change public houses. When I lived in the UK for a couple of years, the beer (Real Ale) was cool ("cellar temperature") not warm.
