Hey Charlie, can you post or send me a few pictures of how you installed the shroud and secured it to the radiator? I also have a 41 with the original radiator.

Thanks guys. I tried just pressing on the gas while hitting the starter button. When it's real hot, like within 30 minutes of running it, it takes a few cranks, but it starts! Otherwise, a little gas...

It's a '41 with a rebuilt crab distributor. Ive double checked the vacuum brake to make sure it's set properly. I can't even tell you how many times I've reset and checked the timing. The ballast...

I do not have timing marks on my pulley... I have just marked TDC with tape. I'll double check it and see if I can put 22 deg on there if static timing doesn't work. Thanks guys.

Well, it runs after replacing the head, but it's doing the same overheating. I've run it for about 10 minutes and it got up to 210. I let it cool for about a half hour and drove it again for about 5...

It is leaking from under the cover. The rubber seal is only about a year old, and I did reset it into the cover before reinstalling it.

Ok, over the past few weeks, I've squirted ATF/acetone down the plug holes three times. I've replaced the plugs, and am still not getting the engine to fire up. I can feel some compression at the end...
