on the originals hood rods. the top way a tube and the sides were rods. I use stainless rod.

look in the header above the door, there is a strip there with four screws in it. model A did not use any fillister head screws,

speed way motors has the axles, you want be careful on the drop. it can mess with the tie rod. I have a good contact with them. that is pretty savvy on setting front axles up.

the upper bushing is made out of pot metal if you try to heat it up with a torch you can melt the bushing. I take it you are working on a seven tooth box. I don`t know of any easy way to get that...

2 cabriolet above rumble lid panel

I have two panels for 29-31 cabriolet above the rumble lid panels the first is very nice it was blasted put in DP-90 and grey epoxy finish primer ready to bolt on. $165 plus shipping the second one...

1" to 1-1/2" free play is right on. and as your clutch wares you will loose your free play. it sound to me that your fingers on your pressure plate are NOT set correct.

keep in mind too, all of the Model A Cabriolet`s rumble and panels are the same as the 29 coupes except the lid itself. so original hinges are easy to come by. hopefully you have the correct rumble...

if you don`t want to screw up the paint or fight the side moldings, remove the dash rail first. then the side moldings.

#1 has some nice patina and has the original tag on it dated 1-13-30
#2&3 would be good for a driver or you repaint it for show.
