Not a Fairlane but a 58 Custom 300 Business Sedan, originally a Thriftmaster 6 now an FE, I believe there were 4 exterior trim packages for this base model.

In Australia, the 38 Club Coupe was available in both Standard and Deluxe.
These were based on the 37 Club Coupe body.
the only coupes locally manufactured for 37 and 38 were Club Coupes.

If you are using the original foot starter switch, that may be an issue.
Mine shit itself, really poor contact and it was hit or miss that the starter would engage to the point I thought the starter...
