Don't use vinegar if you have aluminum heads. If left for the durations above, a couple of weeks, it will corrode the aluminum.

A small hose clap around the back of the rubber grommet grips it just right.

I'm with Floyd on this method. However you could repair it as Kube mentions since the outside stretched material would be fairly minimal.

Another setup issue I'm working on is how much the idler arm pulley and spring should be deflected to have the proper load on the belt?

If the load is too small, the belt won't be pushed down...

McCulloch Spuercharger CH-101 Bracket

Hi,

Looking to buy a McCulloch mounting bracket CH-101 or a ACH-1000 B (aluminum version) for a SBC. This is for a VS-57 head unit. Pulley too if you have one.

You can use an inline tee with 1/8"NPT on all branches. Get adapters for 1/4" brake tubing; 7/16-24 inverted flare brake, IFF to 1/8"NPT.
