Because....40 is 4" wide and if your lucky and find 40 v8-60 they are 3-1/2" wide.
All others 4-1/2" wide and some were 5" wide

Everything you did you mentioned was done years ago.
How old are the tires then getting them balanced would be the easiest thing to do first and rule out.
Potholes and curbs.

3 door heater rubber bumpers 41 to 48 ford style
Looking for either the correct rubber bumper, ones that could be made to work or even bobo generic ones that could work.
I only have one that survived, believe it takes 5 of them. Think they are...

37 is more popular, but i would rather have a 38 standard coupe and only a coupe.....things like the rear fenders, trim, hood and grill.... 38 deluxe is just a parts car to me.

I like to use the 37 to 40 . With the carrier bearing it gives a nice true surface to dial the shaft in with a 4 jaw chuck.
The torque tube flange i cut off long and machine a register to fit back...

Wonder were all the packages ended up in that nasty ice storm accident in Texas last week. Looked like a FedEx truck on top of the pile. Does the cargo get impounded?

When In doubt......use ups. The flatrate boxs are convenient with no guessing on price but any issue that might arrive.....especially now with the post office....your out of luck.
