BTW.... When I showed my father a couple pics of the rumble seat flipped open and new upholstery in it... His face teared up and he just absolutely loved how it looked. "That's how a 36' should look"...

Yes, I visit this site often and purchase parts quite often from members here. My 36 is still in the restoration process. Almost on the rotisserie. Gathering up parts, info etc.. I hope to have it...

V8er - My local PPG store tried that number every which way and it came up as nothing? If you can provide any additional info that would be great. Are u using Base/Clear, Single Stage? Lacquer?

J32 - interesting... I took that code last week to my local PPG and they couldn't find it??

is this an original setup for a rumble car? The two supports on the side and the middle support for the latch? If anyone has pics of this area for a 36 this is what I was looking for.

When the conversion is done it will be visually identical to an original rumble...

Terry, I see the hex bolt 1/4"? That goes through the shaft and hinge. I was referring to the end of the shaft. In the previous two pics it appears to be flush. I will try to attach a pic of one with...

Thanks for the replies. As I see in the pictures the shaft is flush with the hinge on the end. There is no bolt head on this as you described?? Am I seeing this wrong?

I see lots of rumble seat hinges and parts for 35-36 and they claim to be original Henry ford. Some look like they have a hex head bolt that goes through the main bracket that goes through the hinge...

35-36 rumble parts

I'm looking for some rumble parts. The two metal plates that are attached to each side panel that the cast part bolts too (2 bolts) and the arm goes through it. The plates are attached by 4 rivets...
