Sleeve on front of crankshaft??
The original sleeve looked a bit pitted so I ordered a new smooth sleeve (w/o grooves) and the full circle seal for the front of the 8ba crank.

Just last month I was swayed to sell to a fellow in Perth. A one pound item cost $25.+ which included tracking only in the USA and no insurance. I sweat it out but after two weeks the item arrived....

Pulley & parts assembly @ crank front??
First:
The new 8ba crank is in, checked out plastiguaged @ .015, so all is A-OK so far & turns freely with assembly lube.
The crank gear is installed with the proper small key.

Help removing front oil galley plug--8BA!!
That front plug just above the cam is frozen, like welded in. I tried to remove it with an allen wrench but it sort of eggated out & did not budge.
I have always soaked rusted bolts in Kroil...
