Put the carb together and mask off all the orifices, don't get any paint inside where gas or air will enter or on the manifold flange. One can use painters tape to mask the throttle /choke linkages...

Some of the repro radiator caps may not fit the new radiators. Use of a thermostat is subject to much discussion especially some purported lack of flow to the # 3 and 4 cylinders.
