1930 coupe wood purchased from Snyder's in 2009. All fit with no modifications. Not sure where they obtain the kits from.

Re: 30 Coupe. Gonna Have To Raise the Dead

Flop,

Looks like you have 2 different size doors. The one shown with the cowl appears too big for a coupe. The one in previous picture on the left should be the one for the coupe. Am I missing...

Repro Hood

I've got several sections of the original hood (30-31) and a well worn complete one. Thinking about a repro hood. My question is how far off in looks is the repro compared to an original?

The Chicle is the lighter and in almost all cases the lower body color. Copra obviously darker and upper body color.

Re: Brumfield Head

Yep, I had a serious leak, coolant lose out the exhaust and into the oil. Brumfield head warped in the middle. It took 0.010" (ten thousandths) to clean it up. My money is that it's as others have...

Re: How come "Car Collectors" don't like Model A's?

One time I went to rent storage space from a fellow I used to know. He collected Indian motorcyles and had a few old chevys. He told me that Model A's were like ass...oles, everybody had one. There...

Re: How to install door bumpers

Tin Cup,

I believe you have 28-29 coupe rubbers. The 30-31's are shaped entirely different. Got mine (for 30 coupe) from Snyders and they are fine. You should look at Marco's picutre in a...

Re: HAVE to get some primer on my tins

My concern is the pits after sand blasting and sitting for some time. The rust will start down in the pits and later may pop up or cause problems. I use a phosphoric acid product and soak it for 20...

Re: pop-out switch installation problem

Re: 31 coupe Package Tray Help

The depth of the tray is like 5" on the roll down and larger on the standard. Also the holes for the bolts are lower (below the tray surface) for the roll down. So just redrilling doesn't work. I...

Re: Possible New Idea for Pressure to Model A Mains?

Since the centrifugal force in the drilled tube is constant and outward, attempting to get oil to flow inward toward the center of the crank would require constant pressure. So the required pressure...

Re: Part of Our Problem with Model "A" Fords

When I turned 16 in 1965, I bought a 1930 coupe. It was well used with 45K miles. It was the only thing I had to drive for a few years. Young and fearless, I did not know it should be driven slow, so...
