You need to shim the front of the cowl up, or the back of the body up. Then when the door gaps are straight front and back, shim the entire side of the body or the cowl up to get the top of the door...

You can buy single sided whitewalls, and if you don't like the look of whitewalls just flip em around so blackwall is out. I'm going to go with blackwall look next tire change!

What you have is correct. The outer ring (Band) has a finger loop on one side only. The 36 does not use the strap around the tire like the 35. There should be multiple slots around the inner cover...
