I just looked at the clip on my cushion, and it is a 30/31 style. See pic. Could that be my problem? Would a 28/29 clip fix it?

I don't have a hard copy of the catalog, but when I query their website, all I see is the 'open car' type. I think this is made for a single welt strip, not two like I need. I'll order a catalog...

I know some of you guys have used HIDEM welt on your Tudors, instead of gutters for the sides and steel bands for front and back. I put the hidem ALL the way around, all four sides. It doesn't look...

I too have bent the rod to compensate.... Better brains than I have covered the sagging frame issue. Just do a 'find' in this forum about it. It's the 'Search this Forum' button in the red...

I have the same issue, and I think it is caused by my car's sagging frame. That pulls the steering column down a tad....
