Re: The 1933-34 Ford Book

Hi Everyone. maicu, I hope I'm reading your question correctly. From what's on the V-8 Club website, the April 2008 document appears to be the most recent set of corrections. Don't have the book...

Re: Now here is a house I can live with

Did y'all see how much of that ranch is under the earth just far enough to be hidden and not far enough to be temperature stabilized?

And Ken, would you call that playground a single family...

Re: FL&WV Mikes 34 phaeton update .

JMFL, Side curtains are really best made to the car, tailored as it were.

Re: mailing water pumps for rebuilding

One piece of advice I'd offer, think ahead with the sturdiness of your package. When I send some coils a couple of years ago they were returned in the package I sent. All turned out well, but I was...

Re: 33 Cowl Vent

Holy Schnikes that's a load of weight on your vent. I believe it will help. But, my goodness, you have some real stones going with that technique!

Maybe a suggestion if you don't mind, and...

Re: Adjust toe in question...

I know this doesn't help a whole lot right now, but there are two service bulletins that detail alignment procedures and specialty tools; January 1936 and September 1936.

Re: 36 Horn Problem

Here are some pics that I took, and a diagram, I think from Don Rogers. The diagram tells the story.

A thread that might help. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=229928

Re: 35 gas pedal rod?

I have seen a 2"x2" felt square with a hole punched in the center stapled to the top side of the wooden toeboard. Not sure if that's stock.

Re: Do you think there will be another V-8 National meet?

Talk about 'twice the distance,' there IS a meet on May 14-17, it's just in Toowoomba Queensland.

My RG did the 2014 and 2016 Gettysburg meets, and was going to do the one in Morgantown last year....

Re: Fix it or leave it

Nah, my cars are 40 footers, drivers, never been in any kind of judging. That's just a really good photo, from a really good day. But they will stop correctly, as long as I drive sanely.

Re: Hoodbadge ID

I think I took that picture. It's at the V-8 Foundation Museum in Auburn IN. Trevor donated the display he's pointing towards so he'll be able to school us on it.

Here's the next shot.

Re: 1936 car cover

Under what conditions are you using the cover? Keeping dust off it in the garage, or keeping the weather off of it in the yard, or something else?

Re: Fix it or leave it

Welcome Orignal36!

If I was the owner I'd begin with is the frame safe.

I rewired my '35 using harnesses from Third Gen, Michael D. There were no surprises.

Can you do continuity measurements? It might help to have a...
