Take the main shaft and 2nd gear and engage the tapers on each into the respective brass shoes on the syncro. With moderate effort each gear will be grabbed by the shoes and resist...

In my case...'41 p'up....big inch motor stock cooling system....Jack talked me out of an
electric fan and suggested a shroud. I'm glad he did, I used a Walker shroud and voila
temp went from 200+...

I used the PM XS starters on my '32 and '41, very happy no issues. The '41 install

was straight forward, I had to clock it for the '32. I like the idea that the starter gear

is pushed out...

The '36 rear is built and ready to install....spring time project. When I rebuilt the

orig rear and went from 4:11 to 3:78 I set it up tight .002 lash. It ran warm for a week then settled...
