I think they are #12 x 24 tpi. The same as 28 29 with the flathead washer.

About aircraft tubing, it would be seamless tubing. The O/D and I/D would be determined by the male threads that will be threaded inside if it. JMO

I had a late 31 done by a friend a while ago and he arc welded it and it turned out fine. It wasn't the prettiest weld but it worked. I made the jig.

DavidG The Model A front arm is very early before the bent ones. I mentioned it would hit the body of the shock it's self. I don't know about the longer one as yet. Thank you for your intrest. Jim T.

V8COOPMAN It looks like the Model A is very early before they figured out the arm would hit the body and as near as I can see in the ID chart you sent it could be a 36 arm. JMO

I think the shorter one is model A but the long one i don't know. It is about eight inches long and has no numbers on it only has a diamond shape with a S in it.
