Re: Have some fun, Throwback Thursdays

If you like old pics, ask google to pull up "Vintage shots from days gone by". This will take you to a thread on the H.A.M.B. that was started in 2009. Currently there are over 6,600 pages. Photos...

Re: Hard to Start

I'm thinking about time. Time enough to cool. Time enough for the fuel bowl to drain, and thoroughly flood the manifold. Time enough for the ether to dry the plugs, and for it to kick with one wire...

Well said JSeery.:)

By my prejudiced count, this thread has three posts against, five posts indifferent but sharing other experiences that involve boxes that may or may not leak, and ten posts...

Re: How about a place to post CL ads?

I cannot see what prevents anyone who wants to look at that site, to simply do so. Several times people have referred to ads run there, just for critical comments and discussions. As far as someone...

Re: Don't use Corn Head Grease in Steering Boxes

Re: Bolt inside water pump

I concur as I've used that tactic often, in other unreachable spots. As there is a possibility of the paper hanging with the bolt head, then getting out of reach of a tweezer, etc, I think an inch...

Re: A Young Mans Questions

That is a good one. What I sticks in my mind happened perhaps a year back.
( Mind now, thanks to modern medicine some of the drawers of my 'file cabinet' memory are stuck. )

Anyway a person of...

Re: A Young Mans Questions

My pet peeve is that a simple mechanical function gets assigned to a module to make it better (?). Then comes a system failure than can cost lives (fact). While a simple system of levers and pivot...

Re: Cold this mornin'

Yes I can see where that is uncomfortable for certain. Here we had a spell of lingering cold weather. I hope it won't last. Today was nice, for sure.

Re: Second Opinion wanted

Uniformity is the key to longevity. Sure enough, there were times that such things were ignored.

Although the magic of photography doesn't carry the message here. A statement of figures and fact...
