Chris,

Not ALL the 28's had the curtain pans,..AND not ALL early to mid 28's had
the "rumble seat stop supports" on the rumble seat pan,...welded on the
bottom side..

I believe it also attaches to the floor pan under the seat. My mid-28 Roadster never had
one,..BUT the pan is the same for some closed cars and has the holes for the curtain
pan..

The first "5" is the head diameter,..it depends on the size of the counter bore

You can see were the 4 bar upper mount is hitting the rear crossmember,
which is in the 3rd. photo. Get under the car and spend some time looking..

That's a standard plug used in LATE 1928 and maybe into early 1929..

IF yes,..then the pinion rear will have a matching number,..UNLESS it has a mis-matched

I believe the 7 degrees is the "king pin inclination", which should intersect with the
center of the tire patch on the ground for a stock wheel/tire combination..
