Thanks for the correction. Shows how little I know about these cars. Haha. I do recall them being different ('40 Merc v. Ford). Is that correct or am I wrong on that too?

I am still amazed that Ford would have different stampings for a '39 Merc and '39 Ford.

My buddy did a '39 Ford four door convertible for his father. At a show, someone have a '39 Merc four...

The unit it's self or their cleaning products or both? I had the smallest Harbor Freight unit and it bit the dust after a year.

Haha. Could be and totally understand. Which is why that tiny detail of driving a bushing down 1/4" more that could have wiped out a brand new motor would be infuriating if I was the customer.

I understand this logic, but if it’s the shop I think it is you are paying for a premium product. Someone should be inspecting an apprentices work if that’s the case.
