If you have a trunk then the SC would be fine for two people. For more than that I would chose a sedan. Remember people went coast to coast in totally open cars originally. Oh...and pick a good time...

I found when I ran motorcraft plugs they were a tad on the cold side. When I switched to the 'original' style plugs the car started running much much better. So may try a hotter plug from Champion.

I put a GANO filter in my car's upper rad hose to catch anything after a good cleaning. Take the hose, cut out about 1/2" or so (if I remember right), install the top half, clamp, install the filter,...

That is some wild artwork for sure! Fortunately it will only go a few hundred yards with that small gas tank. That and a Hemi with a blower that gets a few hundred feet per gallon.

There is an aftermarket heater door available that should work for you that the vendors sell. I would try for an original though, they pop up here and on ebay every so often. I believe the heater...

Sorry but it sounds like you are pulling the material off and redoing it. It may even be coming in from another point of the roof.

Ok, now I understand. The arms in my 30 will almost go vertical but when I close it really, tightly I hear the gasket getting squished. So I assume that is holding it up.

Welds looks-bad, the weld itself-if done correctly is no big deal. Heck they weld drive shafts for diesel trucks that hold up to way more torque than humans will ever produce steering. My opinion.
