Re: 1930 Model A Gears Grind After New Clutch Install

Re: Model A only runs 40 miles

Check to make sure the ferrule is at the very end of the gas line going into the carb. If it hits the screen, it can restrict flow. It should not matter on a tilliston, but easy to check.

If you do use the electronic system, only you can fix it and supply the parts when on tour with other A’s. They can’t help you in most cases.

Re: horn blows while driving

If everything looks good, it might be that the tip of the horn rod is grounding against some metal. I have fixed a few using a large soda straw, plastic. Cut a small piece and slip it over the end...

Re: Camera Recommendations for Recording Model A Suspension

A go pro would do a great job and there would be no sound, but they are very expensive and it would have to be mounted so it could not fall off. When I did this, I used an old magnetic base from an...

Re: Slight high speed miss

Check ferrule at end of fuel line. Must right at end of tube. Tube hits screen and restricts flow.

I had a terrible yaw problem on my heavy town sedan. It was unsafe. I put a friends firestones on the rear and that fixed it. I then bought 4 Firestone’s and that fixed it.

Re: Hot water heater will not fit

Just make sure you don't lock yourself into a big job when you have to take the floor boards out. You have to be able to work on the car out on the road. Good luck.
