Thanks. I assume they are the same internally as far as the hydraulic damping is concerned? I'll have a look on mine and see what size they are.

can anyone tell me for certain if there is a difference between the lever shocks on a 46 car versus a 46 1/2 ton? I have found a set that measure out correctly in terms of mounting and arm length,...

original paint color

Is there a way to determine the original paint color from the vin or do you need the paint tag? I believe this thing was originally red but would like to know for sure if possible. 46 Ford truck.

Well many thanks to 49fordv8f4 for cutting out the pieces needed to get the grille shell back to a reasonable state. Although there is still a lot of work left to do these pieces will really help...

That's actually the part I was talking about not the bolt on pieces. The grille seperators is the part I may attempt to make since that entire front piece is hard to come by and expensive to ship. So...

well it doesnt seem to do much so I'm wondering how it works, where it locks etc etc. Maybe an exploded view of the column itself. I dont have any kind of a manual for the truck yet so I'm not sure...
