I know this is an old thread, but we are at the final stages of assembly on our 1936 Ford, and we can't figure out how to attach this part - radiator splash apron.

We bought a reproduction splash...

Update: I went ahead and ordered a new vacuum advance diaphragm. Took the distributor out and made the quick change - no big help.

I got my old timing light out (not my newer digital one) and...

Lack of power

I have noticed a definite lack of power (top speed) in my 49 F1 flathead.

What I have done:

Change fuel filter.
New fuel pump.
Remove fuel tank and clean / coat.
Previous - new Dennis...

My dad has a 50 F1 that he wants to split the exhaust for dual exhaust. We cannot find any headers for a Ford 6 cylinder flathead. Does anyone know of where we might can find headers for the Ford 6...

I called Early Ford V8 before I ordered to make sure they would fit. They assured me that they would fit the Dana 41 with the 4.27 ratio. These guys have these made in Europe and are the only place...

Early Ford V8 sales sells a 3.54 ring gear and pinion set for the 48-50 F1 with a Dana 41 rear end. The part number is 8C-4209-HS and it sells...

Safe? No. I think the thing that worries me is the back rear window area and the metal shelf between the seat and that window. I think seat belts would be a big help - anything to keep from having...
