Re: ORIGINAL Standard Hardware needed (nuts)

Re: Running with out shocks

Shocks will dramatically improve the ride and handling. I have driven a 28 pickup 12,000 miles without shocks and have not had any ill affects. I have driven other Model A's and then put shocks on...

Re: when was the first 1930 model A made?

Your build date is probably the engine number and as Lindy mentioned, and in the Restoration Guideline there is up to a 90 day variance on the engine being installed. In your case the engine could...

Re: Stolen 1929 model a ford speedster and trailer

I think the law of one state where the item is registered, carries over to the law of another. Just like one state only requires a rear tag, and you don't have to put a front tag on your car when...

Re: Dropped zerk fitting in clutch

Try one of the flexible cables with a magnet attached. I have gotten out starter bolts, washers etc with one. You could try going down through the inspection plate or go in through the starter hole.

Re: Transporting a 1931 Deluxe roadster

A friend of mine ripped his top off his roadster by open trailering with the top up. Or the top was up for awhile, and then on its own, became down.

Re: Standard vs. Deluxe 1930 Tudor Sedans

The dash on a standard tudor was not striped. Indented firewall could show up on either. The indented firewall came out before the introduction of the deluxe tudor. The Restoration Guidelines also...
