oil is cheap, a new engine is not....Change the oil very frequently,,add MMO too.

my cousin married a nasty and bad mechanic that had the passenger side of his car door tied with rope, funny. Never forgot it.

removing distrubutor shaft

Is there a way to remove the distributor shaft without messing up the timing? I am thinking of replacing my head gasket.

Thanks..sounds like a great starting point. I have to find my van Pelts transmission book..
It has been a while since I looked at it. I am hoping that it is something I can replace, without removing...

1933 model b pops out of 3 gear into neutral

My car still pops out of 3 gear into neutral sometimes while driving.
Any suggestions?

I know a guy that is tied of messing around with the gauge and stuffed a red pipe clean down the tube to simulate a full tank.

the top of the gauge tube is open, just eye dropper the fluid in.

This color looks like the Hirsch paint for ford green. I used this to paint my model B engine. The problem is that it is dark enough not even to be noticeable.
I prefer the lighter green as shown on...
