I did everything myself....most difficult was upholstery and top....paint is Stone Brown urethane single stage....my first Model A restoration...had a lot of fun....

I just finished a 12month total restoration of a 1931 Deluxe Roadster.
Everything that needed replaced WAS replaced. So I go to start it for the first time and it won't start. Turns over fine but...

31 Roadster Seatback
How is the backrest spring held in place at the top? The bottom of it is held in place by 3 "clips" (shown in photo) at the bottom...but what holds it at the top??? Are there clips? I can't seem to...

1931 Deluxe Roadster tackrail
Does any sort of spec sheet exist which shows where to mount the tack rail fasteners on the tack rail? I installed a new tack rail (wood) on my restoration but don't know where to put the tack rail...
