I'm trying to find out when cars were sold with a title. The seller tells me this car is old enough it didn't have one - which is OK since Indiana allows me to apply for one with just a bill of sale....

The current owner said they didn't require a title back then so he has no title.

To clarify - the body is in mint or excellent condition with a few caveats.

My fiancé and I are considering picking up a 1929 2 door. It's got 64k miles. Body is mint but missing a few panels. Needs an interior. The engine runs and it drives. Has new brakes. Radiator leaks...
