Re: Repair of Police (B) Head..

I have one as well. It's cracked in the thin water jacket (it froze with only water in the engine, no antifreeze.) It was that way when I got the pickup. Right now it's yard art!

Re: Fuel filter

Since nothing else in my engine compartment looks "normal" anyway, I went overboard and put one of these on my pickup. With this one, you can drain small amounts of fuel out of the bottom of the...

Re: waterpump options for a 1931

I've had a James Rupert water pump now for 8 or 9 years (15,000 miles). Nary a problem or a leak.

Re: Fuel pump location question.

Here's mine. The fuel pump is located tucked inside the frame rail just forward of the center hood rest (uses the same bolt to secure the pump). Fuel lines are Aeroquip steel braided fuel lines. (All...

Re: How’s your Shortened pitman arm working?

I have the short pitman arm, am using it with an F100 steering box. No difference in the turning radius, much easier steering while under way.

Re: Is it still possible to buy an unbuilt Shay kit?

Shay's were never a kit. They were complete cars, based on Pinto engine & running gear, and were sold thru Ford dealers.
