Re: A&L condensers?

ndnchf, does it just measure the farads or does it do anything else? Most condensers will read good until they get warm. Does this load it to make it warm or anything besides measuring the...

Re: WD40 as hand cleaner

I worked in law enforcement and we did a test on WD40 and a alcohol breath testing machine. Sprayed a bit on the skin and in 10 seconds ran the test and it showed up on the machine as a blood alcohol...

Re: Head Removal...Humor Me

Patience and lift the head evenly seems to be the key. Anytime you get the head higher anywhere it seems to bind on the studs. Lifting evenly seems to do the trick. I have one of the commercial head...

Re: When is a Model T a Model A and not a Model A?

Re: Sears Marvel 2405

I have one on my B engined 29 Fordor. It keeps up with the B engine without a problem. It's been a great carburetor. It came from Gary Johnston also, he's Jim Bullock's son in law.

Re: Repro Parts No Longer Available

My brother just bought a Brass Works. Supposed to be 6 weeks lead time. It took 6 months. Not complaining, they are doing the best they can, it's just a shortage of materials and labor issues. But...

Re: Repro Parts No Longer Available

Need a U-Joint or a radiator? Good luck. Front springs? Not available (the ones made in China can still be had). Hope it's just a supply chain thing and will correct itself.

Re: Transmission Needle Bearings

I just changed the ones out in my Fordor. The only place I could find good bearings was Model A Medic. He has some US made ones and some made in Germany. This has been about 3 months ago.

Re: Bad Case of the White Smoke

Take a peek into the radiator while it's running, you may see air bubbling in the water. That indicates a leak. Took me two tries with mine to get it fixed right. First time I didn't take the time it...
