Ruth, probably doesn't need to be timed. My caution is that if you have something that you can't fix easily (and you should be able to) better fix it in the shop because it'll break on the road....

Regardless of the current condition of the timing, at some point down the road, and probably on the side of the road, that cam screw will need to be loosened. Much better to do it in your shop than...

Try a farm supply. Always have it for old farm equipment and they generally are fairly inexpensive for those thrifty farmers.

What I've been seeing is I get a rapid busy, which means the trunks are full to the area. Give it a couple of tries. Getting through to Steve at Bert's is worth the wait. Thanks for all the help...

My 1929 Fordor has a B motor and transmission in it. Was there when I bought it. The extra 10 horses seems to make a noticable difference.
