I drained both transmission and rear differential in separate clean pans. Differential looks good but transmission lube has silver cast. Put magnet in both but could not pick anything up. No chunks...

I got about 100 miles on my 8ba flat motor. It acts unpredictable. It can idol and temp stays at 185 on a 95 degree day. Drive down the road 2200 rpm stays @185. after about 10 miles same rpm climbs...

I got mine from Brattons and the wheel well was ok but the lower quarter was a near miss. I had probably 10 hours per side and still not very happy. It would have been easier to start from scratch....
