Throw some Marvel Mystery oil down the cylinders and let it set a few hours, then fire it up (if it runs) run it for about 20 minutes then do another compression check, sounds to me like rings are...

All I know is my '52 F3 has the firewall painted the same blue the rest of the cab is, that being said the truck is 65 years old so it could have been repainted... (I doubt it very much)

Definitely running rich, I'd also say the center cylinders are getting raw fuel to add to the problem, making a complete burn impossible. I'll also bet your oil has a gasoline smell to it.
