If you can find the old small oil cans (with or without the Ford lettering logo) most Vendors sell a bracket you can mount anyplace in the engine compartment.

As above, clean the exposed wiring, install the tube assy AND PennRite steering box lube. NO leakee.

If you must try this. Pull the dist, clean the bottom plug that goes into the hole in the block (clean it also), take a piece of wire you're going to the batt with, strip it back about an inch, lay...

Call Randy, but you could remove the shim and grind some off the rear face of the drum to prevent it from hitting the backing plate. Have you checked the backing plate for being bent?? Do both drums...

NAPA< AutoZone, Tractor Supply should be able to get you the right size battery. I recently got a GRP 2 at NAPA for my 40.
